Frazier for Mayor

Jon Frazier’s Plan for New Braunfels | 2026 Mayoral Campaign

A Clear Plan for New Braunfels

Responsible Growth That Protects Our Community
New Braunfels is growing — and growth is not a bad thing. But growth without planning is.
As Mayor, I will focus on smart, responsible development that protects our neighborhoods, preserves our small-town character, and ensures infrastructure keeps up with expansion.
We cannot allow development to move faster than our roads, water supply, and public safety services. Growth should benefit residents — not overwhelm them.

Infrastructure & Traffic Solutions

Traffic congestion has become one of the biggest frustrations for families and business owners.
We need:
  • Long-term traffic planning
  • Clear signage and safer intersections
  • Smarter use of roundabouts and high-traffic corridors
  • Collaboration with TXDOT for state road improvements
Our infrastructure should serve residents — not confuse them.
Planning ahead today prevents costly fixes tomorrow.

Downtown Parking & Small Business Impact

Downtown New Braunfels is the heart of our city. Local shops and restaurants depend on foot traffic and accessibility.
We must evaluate whether current parking policies are helping or hurting local businesses.
I support:
  • Data-driven review of paid parking impacts
  • Listening directly to business owners
  • Making adjustments if policies are negatively affecting local commerce
Policies should strengthen small businesses — not strain them.

Water & Utility Planning

Water is one of the most critical issues facing our future.
We must:
  • Protect long-term water sustainability
  • Ensure infrastructure can support continued growth
  • Maintain transparency in utility rate decisions
  • Invest responsibly in water planning before shortages become emergencies
Water policy must be proactive — not reactive.

Transparency & Accountability

Residents deserve clear communication from city leadership.
I believe in:
  • Open dialogue with citizens
  • Clear explanations of major decisions
  • Data-backed policy discussions
  • Consistent public engagement
Leadership begins with listening.

Public Safety & Community Support

As a veteran, I understand the importance of preparedness and service.
Public safety must remain a priority as we grow:
  • Supporting our police and fire departments
  • Ensuring emergency services keep pace with development
  • Strengthening coordination across departments
Growth without public safety investment is irresponsible.

Protecting What Makes New Braunfels Special

People move here because they love our community.
We must protect:
  • Local businesses
  • Our historic downtown
  • Neighborhood integrity
  • Responsible development standards
Growth should enhance our city — not erase its identity.

Final Call To Action
New Braunfels deserves leadership that plans ahead, listens carefully, and acts responsibly.
If you care about responsible growth, infrastructure solutions, and protecting the future of our city, I ask for your support.
